Beach Club

This time we were leading this project design office, our client was Beach Club. Beach Club is an American diner inspired by Florida, they are stationed at Aker Brygge in Oslo, an area with an quite anonymous exterior. They had earlier seen a what Pål Brekka have made at the Juicery Frogner, which gave us an idea of what direction of impression they wanted.

This Year we in 3 year were tasked with the yearly colabouration between 1, 2 and 3 year students.

This project was open and filled with potential, we could chose almost everything in the diner to work on. This open task required that all in the team worked on the same image, so some of the first tasks we had was defining the diner, developing the concept and define what areas that needed work on the most.

A catalog with a graphic identity was created, with colors, materials and fonts. As well as figuring out problem areas started the work on developing new ideas for the areas. We got an great design going, but Beach Club got an leakage in the basement which shortened the budget, so to get a physical product created we decided on creating a sign for the diner. A design was chosen, built and delivered to Beach club.
